Open to all.
Class2

Spillers/Equifest Mountain and Moorland In Hand
Open to In hand Mountain and Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A,B,C, and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age.

This class may be divided as appropriate.

Class3
BSPA/Equifest Piebald & Skewbald Inhand

Open In Hand Piebald/Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age, The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championships. Subject to their show rules and conditions.

Classes May be divided according to entries.

Class4
ROR

Horses any age, injuries & blemishes caused by racing will be over looked. Non-registered Thoroughbreds raced or not also welcome. Judging of registered and non-registered thoroughbreds will be down to the judges discretion & will be judged equally.

Class5
Open Duns, Roans, Spots. Cream and Palomino

Horses / Ponies may be split if sufficient entries.

Class6
Junior Handler

Handler 17 years and under. Any combination.

Class7
Senior Handler

Handler 18 years and above. Any combination.

Class8
Veteran
15 years old & over. Any Combination.
Class9
In Hand Cob
Class10
In Hand Hunter
Class11
In Hand Foreign Breeds
Open to any breed not registered to the UK. Class will be split into horses subject to entries.
 

In Hand Championship:

All 1st and 2nd place are eligible for the Championships.
Reserve and Supreme will qualify for the Best In Show.
Best In Show will be held in Ring 1 following conclusion of all classes.



Ridden Championship:

1st & 2nd placed from each class are eligible for the championship. Reserve and Supreme will qualify for Best in Show.
Best In Show will be held in Ring 1 following conclusion of all classes.


This show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East Of England Showground in August 2019

  • All competitors wishing to qualify for “Equifest” must be affiliated with the appropriate breed societies.
  • Riders of Stallions must have reached their 12th Birthday by 1st January 2018
  • Entries to the Novice classes must not have won 1st prizes prior to 1st January 2018
  • Exhibitors must not enter an animal bred by the judge or in which the judge has financial involvement
  • All exhibitors are advised to have their own 3rd party insurance
  • Caistor Equestrian Centre will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury however casued
  • Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted on the show ground and must be BSEN1384 OR PAS 015 standard
  • It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they are in the ring for their class/classes
  • No refund of entry fee shall be given if an exhibitor misses a class
  • The judges decision is final
  • No mucking out of horseboxes on the showground
  • All dogs must be kept on a lead and owners must clean up after their dogs

T Walker HGV/Equifest Show Hunter Pony Lead Rein
Show Hunter Pony - Lead Rein, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Rider not to have attained their 9th Birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Class4
Cavernoma Alliance UK - Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein
Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years od and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th Birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be lead by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.

Leading Rein Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle. Lead Rein to be attached to the noseband.

Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle.

Open show pony, Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Show Pony, mare or gelding 4 years old and over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 13th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
  • Show Pony, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms. Riders not to have attained their 15th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
  • Show Pony, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 138cms but not exceeding 148cms. Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

KBIS / Equifest Ridden Show Hunter Ponies
Show Hunter Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 153cms. Riders not to have attained their 20th birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
  • Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 122cms but not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
  • Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 133cms but not exceeding 143cms. Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
  • Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 143cms but not exceeding 153cms. Riders not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

Open Riding Horse, mare or gelding. 4 years old and over, any height. Riders any age.

Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Small Riding Horses—mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
  • Large Riding Horse—mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
Class13
Nupafeed / Equifest Ridden Cobs
Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms.
Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms.
  • Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms.
Class14
Ridden Veteran
Open to Mare or Gelding 15 years and over. Riders of any age.
Class15
Black Country Saddles Equifest / Ridden Hunter
Open Ridden Hunter. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 153cms. Riders any age..

Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Lightweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying up to 12.7 stone.
  • Middleweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone but not 14 stone.
  • Heavyweight Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over capable of carrying over 14 stone.
Class16
Ridden ROR
Horse any age, injuries and blemishes caused by racing will be over-looked. This class is also welcoming Non registered thoroughbreds
raced or not.
Judging of registered and non-registered thoroughbreds will be down to the judges discretion and will be judged equally.
Class17
Hightopps Stud / Equifest Ridden Hacks
Open Show Hacks, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 160cms. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
  • Small Hacks – mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 154cms. Riders any age.
  • Large Hacks – mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 154cms but not exceeding 160cms. Riders any age.
